At our practice, we are pleased to offer a convenient in-house Minor Surgery Clinic held once a month.
Instead of waiting for a hospital outpatient appointment, many minor skin procedures and joint treatments can be carried out quickly and safely right here at the surgery by our specially trained clinical team.
๐ What We Can Treat
Our monthly minor surgery clinic is equipped to handle a variety of small procedures under local anaesthetic, including:
-
๐งผ Cyst Removal: Removal of small, benign (non-cancerous) fluid-filled sacs under the skin.
-
๐ท๏ธ Skin Tags & Warts: Removing uncomfortable or catching skin tags, warts, or other benign skin growths.
-
๐งด Excisions of Lipomas: Removal of small, non-cancerous fatty lumps beneath the skin.
โ How to Book an Appointment
Because minor surgery requires a clinical assessment to ensure it is safe and appropriate for your condition, you cannot self-refer directly into this clinic.
1. ๐ฉบ Step 1: Initial Assessment: Book a routine appointment to see a GP, or submit a request with a photo of the area using our Accurx Online Triage tool.
2.๐ Step 2: Clinical Review: The doctor will assess the lump, bump, or skintag. If it is suitable for our monthly clinic, they will explain the procedure, answer your questions, and gain your verbal consent.
3.๐ Step 3: Booking Your Slot
