Sometimes, the problems we face in life can't be solved by a doctor or medicine alone. If you are feeling lonely, stressed about money, struggling with your housing situation, or managing a long-term condition, Oldham Social Prescribing is here to help you get back on track.
This is a free, confidential service delivered by a partnership of local Oldham charities (led by Action Together, alongside Age UK Oldham, Positive Steps, and Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind).

Social Prescribing is available to all Oldham residents who are experiencing:

π How a "Link Worker" Can Help You
When you access the service, you will be paired with a friendly, local Social Prescribing Link Worker. They will take the time to sit down with you, listen to what matters to you, and connect you directly with community-led activities and support, including:

π¬ Social Outings: Coffee mornings, lunch clubs, and social groups to help you make friends.

π¨ Creative & Active Groups: Local gardening clubs, walking groups, photography, and arts and crafts.

πΌ Practical Support: Direct referrals to experts who can help you sort out benefits, debt, housing, or training.
