🦶 Foot & Lower Limb Care (Oldham Podiatry)

If you have a problem with your feet or lower limbs, you can access specialist NHS podiatry care directly without needing to see a GP first. The community podiatry team is provided by the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

  • Where: Based at the Integrated Care Centre (Oldham), with clinics also held at Failsworth, Glodwick, and Royton health centres.

  • What they treat: Painful foot and lower limb conditions, nail surgery, complex wounds/ulcers, and specialized foot assessments for patients with high-risk conditions like diabetes.

🛑 What is NOT covered: > Please note that the NHS podiatry service cannot accept self-referrals for routine nail cutting, verrucas, bunions, fungal nail infections, or general skin care (like simple corns and calluses) for otherwise healthy patients.

How to access the service:

  • 💻 Self-Refer Online: You can bypass the surgery entirely and submit your request instantly using the secure online portal: PodiatryDirect Online Self-Referral.
